My personal email is now self-hosted. Thanks @cloudron. SOGo seems to do a decent job syncing to the native iPhone Mail app with ActiveSync, even push email notifications work. The Mac Mail app doesn’t have any issues with IMAP. Sent mail is scoring 10/10 on https://www.mail-tester.com.
I’m waiting for the gotchas to show up. Maybe they won’t.🤞

Cloudron 8.2 is now fully rolled out. If your #Cloudron is set to auto-updates, it is probably already updated. All the relevant changes are outlined at https://blog.cloudron.io/cloudron-8-2-released/
We added device mounts, OIDC provider customization, an sqlite addon, app archives and removed the big global lock finally 🧙♀️

Another app in the fold 🌱
We released the initial package for Wallos, a subscription tracker. The package release got delayed since waited on our improved sqlite backup/restore support. This landed with #Cloudron 8.2 and ensures the database state is always consistent for cutting the backups.

Appreciation post: Migration done! Moved @cloudron from old VPS to new VPS, and the process was so quick that I took for granted something had failed.
It hadn’t.
All six services, this #Mastodon instance included, now has a new home on the internet.
