I finally have the right amount of useful services fully configured and running on a RaspberryPi 4B for my HomeLab
I am not over-stressing the SD card by writing too much to disk and the RAM is also decently saturated

After weeks of #systemd troubles, I definitely want to have old init scripts back!
Or throw away that linux garbage and switch to #BSD! 🤬
It starts with chaos regarding incompatible libs, runtimes and distributions.
Then they came with #docker to approve bad software designs.
And now I waste my time with writing wrapper scripts to simulate systemd stuff in docker,
or to hack drop-ins into read-only filesystems on embedded machines to fix broken startup-dependencies.😡

for anyone upgrading ubuntu server, you might also encounter this strange docker bug where it deletes the docker0 interface, fix it with
sudo apt remove netscript-2.4
sudo systemctl restart docker
