Fedi My Id is still seems ideal for me. Its doesn't block Mostr or Threads, but I can block that domains personally. So if I didn't wanna interacted with people on Mostr or Threads, I simply block that instances personally without affecting other people choices on this instance to connect with them.

We are going to defederate from varishangout.net because they post a LOT of loli content and this time with some actual drawn naked children. This is unacceptable. I caught their domain when I was searching my custom emoji for the usual red flags, and found they had a weird emoji for :jew: that feels antisemetic.
The "LoliHat" account there in particular is pretty bad on posting loli stuff, including children in sexual poses, but a quick check of their front page will reveal a lot more gross 4chany shit.

I'm going to block social.pizelated.sh because the mods didn't do anything about the yaoi bot that sometimes posts children + adult relationships. I specifically reported this post months ago with no response (cw: shotacon):

I give all instances I report things to at least 2 weeks to respond to reports before I limit their domain, and then if I'm feeling generous, I give them an additional 2 weeks before supsending, just in case the mods are overloaded, but social.pizelated.sh has had almost 3 months because I forgot to check in on the report and they haven't done anything, and so I checked and the instance is small, hosting only 6 users which means they are OK with shotacon, which means a de-federate for me.

Given Meta’s recent hateful conduct policy change, specifically regarding now *allowing* calling specifically LGBTQ+ various flavors of ‘mentally ill’, I’ve decided to go ahead and defederate with threads.net.
Honestly should’ve done that a long time ago considering how little regard they have for data privacy, but I didn’t want to risk severing any connections as I’m not the only user of this server.
Since nobody here even follows users on Threads to begin with, eat shit Zuck.
