Suite à la « sortie » récente de Mark Zuckerberg, et suite à la parution de différents documents sur l'évolution des politiques de modération chez Facebook, dont la maison mère, Meta, gère aussi Threads, il est temps de faire évoluer notre position quant à la (dé)fédération avec Threads ( lire https://www.lemonde.fr/pixels/article/2025/01/10/moderation-sur-facebook-de-nouvelles-regles-tortueuses-detaillees-dans-des-documents-internes_6491321_4408996.html ou https://larevuedesmedias.ina.fr/facebook-instagram-meta-zuckerberg-fact-checking-desinformation ).
Pour rappel, la fédération était « bloquée » pour chaque compte de l'instance, mais déblocable au cas par cas par toute personne concernant ses propres messages ( contexte de la décision sur https://social.sciences.re/@contact/111679908233200589 ), avec un certain « bénéfice du doute » laissé à Threads.
Les communications de Mark Zuckerberg ne laissent plus de place au doute, ce blocage sera donc pur et simple, et ne sera plus désactivable, à partir du 17 janvier 2025.
Nous invitons donc les personnes souhaitant continuer à interagir avec Threads à changer d'instance.

I don't plan to ever post on this hashtag again, but I wanted to pass @Shrigglepuss's post along to anyone who might have them blocked...
FeministWiki.Org is a well known and widely blocked Feminism-Appropriating-Reactionary-Transphobe site, AKA TERFs, and has apparently been posting erroneously on the #FediBlock / #InstanceBlock hashtags to try and break up mainstream Fedi's queer community.
Don't let them, just look them up and you will find tons of posts about that place being a hate site. Block them instead and don't pay attention to their posts.

Just wanted all the other #Moderation teams watching #FediBlock / #InstanceBlock to know we're experiencing some sort of minor #spam / #troll #raid, which seems to be affecting a few servers. It's only like a couple posts an hour, I'm keeping an eye on the sign ups, and we're going to be bringing on a new moderator we've been onboarding.
These aren't automated, so even if you have protections against automated signups, y'all may want to check your local timeline. Look for wojack / soyjack memes.
