Why do I always have a special thought when I read the news?
I almost always think:
“Politicians and governments never do anything for the “little” people anyway, but only for the benefit of large corporations”
No matter what I read in the meantime, it's as if that's all that counts in the background.

While there's no love lost between me and the commercial health insurance companies, I think that it is horrible to see so many posts on the #fediverse either justifying the murder of #UHC CEO or downright encouraging the murder of others. Really, folks?!
These companies may be a big part of the problem of healthcare in the US. Their leadership may be complicit too, but advocating for murder is a bridge too far in my opinion. Let's tone this down just a bit, shall we?
