#Friendica scheint wirklich schwierig zu administrieren zu sein. Bin jetzt auf der dritten Instanz, die innerhalb von Monaten nicht mehr richtig funktioniert (nur noch Föderation mit #Diaspora und #Friendica, um 1 Woche verzögerte Auslieferung und Empfang von Beiträgen)
So sehr ich Friendica mag, weiß ich nicht, ob ich mich daran gewöhnen möchte...

Coming down the home stretch for 1.0: big change is the “explorer screen” for seeing trends, suggested accounts, tags you are following, related to that being ability to call up tags searches and some other new features. Hoping to have this version pushed day after Christmas. I’m trying to decide if Contacts should be in the drawer which would open the nav bar space up. I just don’t know what I’d put there instead. Maybe the logged in user’s media gallery screen? I go to that more often than I look up contacts nowadays. #relatica #friendica

After a bit of research, I learned that TWBlue is open source, and that, while the current version is only for 64-bit machines, there is a 32-bit version. There is also a 32-bit version specifically designed to work with Windows 7. Whether that's the same as the regular one, I don't know, but it does exist. However, since it has some extremely important features that TWBlue lacks, such as editing posts and profiles, etc. I prefer TweeseCake. However, it seems that there is only a 64-bit version. Am I wrong? Is it closed source? I would love to be able to work strictly from my Windows XP or 7 virtual machines, but this is the one program I must use in 11, and I ultimately find myself using 11 for everything, which I don't wish to do. I don't know of any other truly accessible clients for Friendica, other than these two.

@_elena The best to self-host, especially because it is very light and optimized for single-person instances, is definitely @gotosocial.
I tested it on my YunoHost server while it was still in alpha, and it already worked wonderfully.
Software like #Friendica amd #Sharkey work at their best for communities of friends, in my opinion.
