We are right now thinking if we want to use the #Godot #Steam integrations, because on the one hand, these are just some incredibly powerful tools that will greatly enhance our players enjoyment of the game, but on the other hand ... we would need to write a huge wrapper class or split up the project into two branches to make it work with #itch_io

I had a key not working in my code and I was debugging for all I was worth and turns out dev of the year here didn’t have it in her input map, Godot people please tell me you’ve done this too #godot #gamedev #indiedev
Discovered that you can control #godot tree process and physics process individually while fixing a bug... and now I feel like this is such an underrated trick.
Now I can detect collisions in my turn based movement while the tree process is set to paused! It seems so obvious now!

Experimenting with Godot's particle system.
Most likely not going to include levitation in the final game, as much fun as it was in Morrowind it takes away a lot of interesting options for level design (like here I am just skipping the entire level with it). But it will stay available with the cheat console :^)

Game engine explorations continue now w/ #Godot 4.3 - so far I'm loving the workflow! Tilemap layers that bake in physics and navigation are really nice.
Still working on the 2D RPG idea, using #kenney assets. Hope to try out the multiplayer API's, soon.

Just figured out texture painting in Blender and exporting to #Godot, so thinks are getting serious now. #gamedev
