#Godot Hmm, am I doing something wrong or does orbit_velocity in ParticleProcessMaterial / GPUParticles3D just not do anything? Can't find a bug report on this 🤔 (Godot 4.3+)
Edit: I did do something wrong! You have to set the velocity curve as well!
There's many posts in some of the hashtags I'm most interested about (#gamedev, #indiedev, #blender, #blender3d, #illustration, #art, #godotengine, #godot) that I'm not boosting as much as I'd like because many of them are missing the alt text, because some of the folks following me need them to understand or even know how your art looks and feels.
I'm sure I'm not the only person here avoiding to boost many posts without alt text, so, just saying that it would be lovely to see more of them. 🙂

Been experimenting with the excellent Dialogue Manager plugin by @nathanhoad and have got it working quite well so far.
Since there's a forest, a tree stump, and it's an adventure-rpg hybrid, I wonder if @grumpygamer is OK with me borrowing this famous #MonkeyIsland joke. I’m still scarred by my childhood. 😀

By far the most common are SDL2, SDL and OpenGL. Following far behind is #Unity, and some popular language-specific frameworks like SFML and pygame. #Godot fits in at no. 10, barely inching out libGDX.
Compared to the rest of the #GameDev world, OSGC skews heavily toward older games and coding-heavy projects, so SDL/OpenGL's dominance is not surprising. The venerable Allegro at number 5 is interesting too.
it's still Friday the 13th (almost screenshot Saturday) so I will share a screenshot of the "spooky" project I'm working on. I won't give many details but it's inspired by Kingdom Classic's simplicity. I challenged myself to create something under 100 hours. In fact I'm already reaching the limit so that challenge is probably going through the window, but I want to complete it soon and get it polished for Halloween 🎃 !!
