Oh my GOD. #GitHub #GitHubActions inputs/outputs are /stringly typed/ even when declared as bools?! What the fuck is this horseshit?
That’s about an hour I'm never getting back.
With apologies for being so negative, let's review:
- GHA internals: spaghetti mess of bubblegum (PowerShell), shoestrings (C#), and baling wire (MSSQL)
- GHA externals: stringly typed variables, awkward/weak reusability, "cat text into a file to set env vars”, etc
So glad it's the new industry standard!

Gibt es hier Menschen, die sich mit #github und #gitlab auskennen und die mir eventuell sagen können, wie ich ein github Projekt in mein Gitlab überführen kann, dort dann aber eigene Configs drin habe für meinen Server und das dann über ansible so verwalten kann?
Wenn ich die Repo direkt in mein Semaphore einbinde, zerlege ich mir meinen Server damit, weil meine Configs nicht da drin liegen. Es ist aber eine vars.yaml notwendig in einem verzeichnis.

Ok so I need #followerpower again. This time for #github #githubactions #githubpages 
I want to create a website for my repo that contains lots of pretty tables and graphs.
The data can either be generated on the fly from repo data or source code or is stored in git notes as JSON.
rn I am using #jekyll but I feel like this is not going anywhere, mostly because liquid templates are not powerful enough to drive my needs.
What should I have a look at/check out to get my page nice?
